Okay, this is pretty cool. Most people already know that Miranda Lambert’s new album, Revolution, comes out in just a few weeks on September 29th. However, this is new: On September 8th (tomorrow), you can go to Best Buy and buy Dead Flowers, a small EP of a few songs:
“Dead Flowers”
“Take It Out on Me”
“I Just Really Miss You”
“Nobody’s Used to Be”
The first one we know- the last 3 were all bonus tracks for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend offered from different stores. If that weren’t enough, the EP only costs $1.99 and it comes with a coupon for $2 off Revolution when it comes out. Is that a deal or what? I just had to share this deal- of course as a poor college student, I just have to bum a ride to Best Buy…

Well, I guess I know where I’ll be after work tomorrow evening. Thanks for the heads up!
This is nice and I wish more labels would do such things for their artists. A way to entice fans to ‘purchase’ the single but give ’em something they didn’t have before, IE those bonus tracks.
Actually, isn’t this just a recycling of the bonus tracks from her last album?
They are, but I never got bonus tracks- and many people didn’t either. I won’t buy her album 3 more times to get those tracks, so a basically free EP with 3 tracks I couldn’t get otherwise? I’ll take it…
I never got the bonus tracks either, so this is perfect
Are they? I must’ve missed them then, ’cause I don’t have any bonus tracks from her last album. I don’t buy from itunes, so that could be why though.
I thought the bonus tracks were on the Target version of her last CD, but after Chris’ comment, perhaps there was one bonus track on the album that varied depending on what retailer it was purchased from — like Dolly’s last album was.
That’s what Wikipedia says- one was from Best Buy, and 2 from Target. The only missing bonus track that isn’t on the EP is the itunes bonus track.
Sorry I didn’t explain all that the first time.
