Yall need to post more stuff up about Martina McBride. Like that banner on the top of this website???

Where’s Martina? She’s the Queen of Country!

    • Chris July 2, 2009 at 8:33 am

Those artists on the banner are our favorite artists, like I picked Sugarland as my favorite, for example.

Martina is a favorite of mine, and I’ve been meaning to review “I Just Call You Mine”…

I thnik it was aired on KQED but not sure about that. Please can someone help me with this. At the end all of the stars were up on the stage. I missed the whole thing except the very end because I did not know it was on.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed your site for sometime now. I am a semi-newcomer to country. My daughter was brought on stage and Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley signed her cowboy hat! This was many years ago in Worcester Mass and her excitement was so infectious our whole family started being country fans! I am a graphic designer and I own a screen printing company and its wasn’t long before I was making country t shirts for all her friends! After a few years and many sales (and many country concerts)I figured I would try it as a business! So far…so good! I would love to get your feedback! Thanks so much…love your site! I have told many friends about it! Frank

If you are looking for a better type of country music, the kind that hearkens back to the good old days, check out http://www.moosechaser.com. The young start up group out of Los Angeles has really embraced something true to the core of outlaw country western lost in the days since country turned sterile.

  25. Paul / NashvilleHype! May 17, 2011 at 8:42 pm

Hey you guys. I think I should be in the running for Best Country Blog!
You work hard and get no recognition in this hobby.

  28. Rowena Muldavin August 31, 2012 at 11:22 am

What a great website! My name is Rowena Muldavin and I’ve been doing an internet radio show called All Things Country for Heartland Public Radio on HPR1, http://www.hpr.org. The show is a mix of new and old, with an emphasis on independent artists who are recording REAL country music that is not heard on commercial radio. I play Amber Digby, as well as Miss Leslie, Dale Watson, Becky Hobbs, Darrell McCall, Mona McCall, Bob Plunkert and many more. I’d love to do an interview with you.

Thank you for this website. All the writers are excellent and please know how much you are appreciated for what you do for Country music.

I’ve found some amazing artists on here, but one girl’s music which I am TOTALLY in love with isn’t anywhere on here! Her name is Lindi Ortega. My personal favorite album of hers is Cigarettes & Truckstops. Would love to see a review of it on here!

  35. Michael and Joan Welch October 11, 2015 at 4:12 am

can anybody let me know what has happened to DAVE LOGGINS, this guy has written some truly amazing songs, songs of life, that mean an awful lot to an awful lot of people. To my knowledge, little as it possibly is, he hasn’t written and recorded himself for a good many years. To my mind DAVID LOGGINS, was one of the finest songwriters of, of the 70, and early 80, So Mr Loggins please come back with your wonderful lyrics, and songs, that i would call SONGS OF LOVE AND LIFE.

  36. Timothy Yap September 28, 2016 at 8:06 pm

  42. Franky September 19, 2021 at 3:37 pm

    Dear Country Lovers,

we are „Grateful Cat“, a two-peace band from Berlin.
In our new Video we try to play Cowgirl and Cowboy, feed animals, sleep on haybales, and even play Banjo.
That`s at least how two city-kids imagine themselves in the country …

The song is called „I`d love to write a country song but I`m city girl“ and we hope you like it.

If you want to share it with your employees or friends, or even post it somewhere we would be delighted. Maybe it brings joy to some people …

    Greetings from Germany,

    Gwendolin & Franky
