Prairie Oyster was (is) a good band that experienced more success in their native Canada than they did in the US. I prefer Hank Snow’s original but this is a nice version

Nothing not to like about this group except for their odd name which is the slang term for bull testicles (considered to be a delicacy by some folks) It’s also a term for a concoction purported to cure hangovers but they purportedly based their name on the former. They arrived during the New Traditionalist era of country music but as Paul mentioned they failed to catch fire in the U.S. However they did make some great music and in this era when current country music is beyond horrible they are definitely worth a listen.

Another excellent group from that time period that never got the attention they deserved is The Wagoneers.
