    One of Johnny’s best performances. His Mercury single peaked at #2 in 1976. The song was written by the great Mickey Newbury. Like many other youtube songs the title was amended by the by the person that posted it either because they did not know it or are trying to avoid the dreaded youtube song police. The proper title is “I Wonder If I Ever Said Goodbye.”
