Olivia doing an excellent job lip-syncing her 1971 single released on the UNI label. No question that the camera really loved her. The girl could really take an extreme close-up and look amazing.

This song became a huge hit for Olivia in Australia and England though it failed to hit in the U.S. My local country station played this song for a time but I was unable to locate a copy. However two years later I was most happy to discover that it was included on the U.S. version of her MCA album “Let Me Be There.”

Though this song tell a very sad story I thought it was an interesting idea to add a chorus of rather joyful sounding female voices for the backup vocals. Also love the terrific bass vocal by Mike Sammes who also performed on Olivia’s hits “Let Me Be There” and “If You Love Me (Let Me Know)”
