    I can understand why Patsy was against recording “Crazy” after hearing Willie sing it.

    Yes – WIllie’s demos don’t make much of a template for a vocal stylist like Patsy Cline. Fortunately Owen Bradley had a good ear for hearing what Willie’s vocals didn’t convey, and insisted she give it a try. I like WIllie’s recording of the song, but I prefer the Patsy CLine and Linda Ronstadt recordings to his efforts on this particular song
