    It’s sort of odd that “She Don’t Know” was Sammy Kershaw’s only single to reach #1. Sammy’s similar, smooth-voiced New Traditionalist contemporaries–Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie, Tracy Lawrence–seemed to hit #1 with every other single they put out during that early ’90s period. Even the sometimes-hard-to-take, woefully inconsistent Aaron Tippin hit the summit several times.

    I’m wondering what went on to propel “Cruise” back to the #1 slot.
