    THE EVERLOVIN’ WORLD OF EDDY ARNOLD was his ninth consecutive #1 album (not counting Camden budget releases) and his last to reach the top spot. This album didn’t have any really huge hits on it, and actually was a rather bland effort, propelled to the top by the momentum Eddy’s career had built up to that point. There would one more #1 single and a few more top ten singles ending by summer 1969. and then no more top ten singles until a brief surge in 1980. Unfortunately, much of Eddy’s peak occurred before Billboard started keeping track of country albums
