    Though Loretta’s #1 song sounds like something that she could have written it was actually penned by Shel Silverstein who had created “A Boy Named Sue” for Johnny Cash just a couple of years earlier. The fact that Loretta actually had twin daughters which is also mentioned in the song added to that mistaken perception. When Decca first released the song to radio stations the blue label promotional 45 RPM record was mistakenly titled “Here In Topeka.” The title was quickly changed and reissued as “One’s On The Way.” I kept a copy of the “Here In Topka” record as a collector’s item.
