What ever happen to the rest of Bucks band? I know don rich had past away. I have always like Buck music. When did Buck past away? You still hear his music on calssic country radio once in awhile. the bass player sang high tennor he dose good job but Don Rich is hard to beat in my opinion.

Doyle Holly (bass and rhythm guitar) passed away in 2007, Tom Brumley (steel) in 2009. Drummer Willie Cantu is still alive. That’s it for the classic 60s lineup

Drummer Jerry Wiggins (late 60s- mid70s) is still alive and (at last report) married to Susan Raye.

I think Jay Dee Maness and Jerry Brightman, both of whom played steel guitar with Buck for a short time are still around and others from later versions of the band such as Jim Shaw and Doyle Curtsinger are still alive and there may be others still around
