Martina McBride’s Greatest Hits was the first country music album I ever bought (in 2005)! I played it on repeat about ten times in a row. Those were the days
“Hag” was the #1 Billboard Country Album the weeks of 5/22/71, 5/29/71, 6/12/71 & 6/19/71.
Not sure how you select comparable weeks but “I’m Just Me” by Charley Pride was the #1 album the week of 10/16/71 and “I Won’t Mention It Again” by Ray Price returned to #1 the week of 10/23/71.
