One of country music’s all-time great duos. After Stoney passed away in 1977 Wilma Lee continued as a solo performer on the Grand ole Opry.

The most complete CD compilation of their hits is the 2002 Varese Sarabande release “The Very Best Of Wilma Lee And Stoney Cooper And The Clinch Mountain Clan” (catalog # 302 066 323 2)
Varese licensed the original Hickory Records masters and compiled all of the duo’s significant singles from 1956 – 1963 including this 1959 top ten hit.

Other compilations by the duo released on the Gusto/Starday family of labels are later re-recordings.
