    I’ve always loved this song.

I’ve always liked this song too, but was never a fan of Dalton’s voice. Sunny Sweeney’s recording on Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame is great.

I love this song and her voice! When you herd Lacy on the radio you knew it was her. Need more original voices like hers and less of the sound alikes we have today.

I always thought Lacy’s rough, gravelly voice was a good fit for this lyric about working class folks pursuing stardom in Nashville. But her voice definitely isn’t for everyone.

I agree about her having the voice for working class folks along with this song I love her version of “Working Class Man” and ” This Ole Town”! two songs that are very relateable to me!
