    During calendar year 1960 only 5 singles earned the #1 position on the Billboard country singles chart. This one held the top spot for 14 weeks and at year-end ranked as Billboard’s #1 country single for 1960. Hank’s biggest and best hit. What a great performance.

    Hank Locklin had one of the most distinctive voices ever heard in country music.

    It’s funny how they went in just a couple of years from dressing like they were going to a cowboy costume party to dressing like they were going to work as executives at First National City Bank in New York City.
