    This was ET’s last big hit in 1963 (other than “Leave Them Boys Alone” in 1983 with Hank Williams Jr & Waylon Jennings) – he had 58 top ten hits between 1944-1963, with several of his biggest hits occurring before Billboard started their country charts in January 1944 . “Walking The Floor Over You” made several different pop charts in 1941 and likely would have been #1 on the country charts for 15-20 weeks (perhaps even longer) had there been such a chart at that time
