    Johnny Horton died in a car crash on 11/5/60. “North To Alaska” song entered the charts on 11/14/60 and made its way to #1 from there. I do not know exactly when the record was released. He would have one more posthumous top ten record

    It’s also worth noting that “Joshua” was Dolly’s first #1 hit.
