    Really good bunch of songs this week. “The Little Girl” was sort of a last hurrah for JMM, who had already started to fade away before this record hit the charts

      Yes, I actually like all of the songs this week. “The Little Girl” often gets a bad rap, but I’ve always liked it.

        I don’t mind it either. He did have one more big hit (“Letters from Home”) a few years later when patriotic, war themed songs were so huge that even David Ball had his biggest hit since “Thinkin’ Problem”.

    I love “Letters from Home”, but not so much “The Little Girl.” Too creepy for me.
