    Is this the last week for “White Lightning”? It seems like it’s been on here for awhile now. I can’t even remember this unremarkable Alabama hit. The Tim McGraw one was good. I remember the radio playing it spliced with news clips from a school shooting.

      Yeah, this will be it for “White Lightning”. I like Rodney Crowell’s version of “Please Remember Me” better than the Tim McGraw version.

    Two holdovers and a Bill Anderson song that was certainly different from anything Bill had recorded before or since.

    Like Michael, I didn’t remember the Alabama song at all. I went back and listened to it – it’s pretty generic

    The Bellamy Brothers hit was their first #1 on the country charts and would kick off a solid decade plus of top ten records including another nine #1s
