Classic clip from the half-hour syndicated “Buck Owens Show” circa 1966. Buck taped the show in Oklahoma City to save $$$. Chance to hear Don Rich’s superb harmony vocal next to Buck’s lead. On records Buck usually overdubbed his own harmony as he did on “Together Again.” Tom Brumley recreates the iconic steel guitar solo that he played on that 1964 hit single with fellow Buckaroos Willie Cantu on drums & Doyle Holly on bass guitar.

Usually these video clips have singers singing songs with saddest of lyrics while they have big smiles on their faces.
Here, Buck looks and sounds like he’s ready to cry–You wouldn’t know that the lyrics are happy!
