    Very sad for the two children that she left behind. She’s a poster child for how wrong a musical career can go when combined with drug & alcohol addiction. Met her once back at the beginning of her career when she was on a radio station tour. My impression was that she was completely self-absorbed and just not a very nice person. Her fall from grace in the music business was exacerbated by that attitude. Hopefully her passing will serve as a warning to others not to take that path. She never subscribed to the adage: it’s nice to be important but it’s more important to be nice.
