    Nat Stuckey’s RCA Victor single (recorded at a slightly faster tempo) peaked at #15 during late July 1969. Nat’s recording fared better than Carl Smith’s Columbia single that stalled at #28 in June 1960. Eddie Cochran did a pop version that pre-dated Carl’s recording by several months and was released as the “B” side of his single “Three Steps To Heaven.”
