    Great clip from my all-time favorite TV program. This is from the August 30, 1969 Johnny Cash Show on ABC-TV. The Carter Family & The Statler Brothers were regulars on the series and man they are doin’ some serious singin’ on this one! Love the Bill Walker Orchestra that is also featured on this song. Bill Walker wrote incredibly tasty arrangements that never overwhelmed Cash’s voice.

    Wish that Sony would release all 58 episodes of this series on DVD but due to the complexities of clearing all of the performances and the cost of music licensing fees that may never happen.
