I love the song and am so excited for “Wreck & Ruin,” but I have a kind of nitpicky question I hope someone here can answer. Towards the beginning of the song, there are the lines “God made the ocean/ he made it blue/ he told us don’t eat/ forbidden fruit.” It’s been bugging me since the first time I heard the song, does the part about God making the ocean blue really have meaning in the song, or was it just a rhyme so they could get to “forbidden fruit’?
